Taking Your Own Photo of Mt. Fuji

A side benefit of frequently traveling to Japan over many years is getting chances to take your own candid photos of the iconic Mt. Fuji.

The trick is positioning yourself on the right side of your mode of transportation (Shinkansen bullet train, airplane) or getting the right hotel room on the right side of the building and knowing just when to point your camera (or iPhone in my case).

Then again, you can always go climb the mountain. They say "If you haven't climbed Fuji-San once, you're a fool. If you've climbed Fuji-san more than once, you're a fool". Make your plans carefully, by the end of August it's too cold on the mountain to climb it!

So it's not the main reason to come to Japan, but if you have me take you around to grow your sales, I'll throw in pointers on getting your own fantastic shots of Mt. Fuji!
