Taking Time to Recover and Reassess
Tamás Rábak?zi
CEO at DruIT I We help European companies find their next, best talent.
After a few weeks of personal and professional silence, I return with a renewed perspective.
A challenging CrossFit competition in September — where I foolishly pushed too hard without listening to the signs of my body and mind, therefore ended up needing a long time to recover — ?left me with more than just physical strain. It was a wake-up call to rethink my prioirities and daily routines.
Lately the usual post ideas hasn’t been finding me as steady either and I wanted to avoid writing about nonsense or paint an overly rosy picture just for the sake of posting, staying active or to show some activity to keep the algorithms alive. No. I’m taking this period as a reminder, that it’s okay to slow down, reassess, and take a step back to rebuild.
I strive to be grateful for the lessons learned and the setbacks encountered, as they shape our journey. These experiences teach us to remain resilient, persistent, and focused, even when we are not in our best form. Finding comfort in small victories is essential.
Despite these challenges and a slight slowdown in closing international deals, we have successfully expanded our reach abroad, marking Germany as a new milestone on our map.
In the coming weeks, I will be sharing my experiences and insights on managing international projects and recruiting international experts with DruIT. This series will cover every step of the process, from the initial outreach to the legal intricacies and the final onboarding.
