Taking Stock
Now we have all had a chance to celebrate and come to terms with a new decade, take some time to reflect, take stock and plan before the first full week of 2020. There was so much that happened for us all not only during the past year but also throughout the past decade. I have compiled a list of questions that may be beneficial to you. Take some time out for yourself, disconnect from society and reconnect with yourself.
What did you learn last year?
What are your top 3 learnings from the past decade?
Proudest moment of last year?
What 5 things are you most proud of from the past decade?
What were you most grateful for last year?
What 10 things were you most grateful for during the last decade?
What were the biggest lessons you learnt?
Which failure led to be a blessing this past decade?
These questions will no doubt have led you to explore all manner of achievements, experiences and learnings. As we enter the infancy of the new decade, ask yourself a question.
Am I happy?
When communicating with one another we often ask how people are and what they do. How many times have you been asked if you are happy? Take this opportunity to ponder this vital question, for what is life, without happiness.
Make 2020 your year and the start of the life you have always wanted.
p.s. for those of you that said you were waiting for 2020 and still didn't take action because you were now waiting for the first Monday of 2020...
Your time is nearly up. Take action
