Taking a stand...
The events unfolding in Ukraine since Thursday are as terrifying as they are abhorrent. The images and stories of innocent civilians under attack and being killed have shocked and saddened the world. I’m in awe of the bravery demonstrated by the people of Ukraine, they’re determined to stand up and fight for their country.
We’ve already seen events being pulled from Russia and rightly so!
From this point forward, Showforce and the wider Spendlove Group will be taking a stand. We will not be accepting work from any Russian companies or those affiliated with Russian businesses and financial institutions. I hope that this sentiment is echoed throughout our industry and would implore everyone to do their due diligence and ensure that they are doing the same.
If we come together as an industry to deliver events to raise money for the people of Ukraine then we will gladly provide our services at cost and lend support in any way that we can. Also, any Ukrainian refugees who come to the UK looking for work are very welcome to join our crew.
Bullying, intimidation and aggression should never be tolerated. We must all stand by the people of Ukraine and do whatever is within our power to support them.
