Taking Schoolisms 'Terryl Whitlatch' Creature Anatomy Critique Course
I'm two weeks into Schoolisms Terryl Whitlatch Creature Anatomy Critique Sessions and I am so impressed with i. I'm terrible at doing the self taught courses as work/clients/life get in the way of my studying but the structure of having to hand the work in to receive feedback just works so well for me. I struggled with week 1 mainly because I was torn between analogue and digital. As a long time ZBrush instructor I have become so reliant on digital workflows I floundered deciding which mediums to use and that reflected in my output. I flip flop between pencils, ink, markers, Ipad Pro and Pencil and of course the Wacom hardware.
Week two I went fully Copic Sketch markers and paper and I'm loving it. I might throw in some blue pencils for week three as I love the freedom they give me.
I'm learning things I didn't even know I didn't know about if that makes sense (Donald Rumsfeldish there for a sec). Possibly the best course I've done to date.
Nice.
