You’ve likely heard this: “He’s got every excuse in the book.”?

Do you want to be known as someone who makes excuses for everything, or someone that people can count on? “We can count on her because she always comes through.”

Taking ownership means doing whatever it takes to fulfill whatever commitment you've made.

Give yourself permission to permanently throw away the excuses. This principle will not?fully take effect until you command radical ownership of everything you say and do. Think before you speak, making promises to yourself or others. Only commit when you can deliver.

In life, it’s easy to point the finger, but how can you build the best version of yourself if you’re not looking within? Before you point your finger next, do so using the reflection principle, while looking in the mirror. The only person you will be pointing your finger towards is yourself.

How many times have you wanted to take the easy way out, only the find out there is none? Shortcuts will lead you only in the wrong direction. There is no other path for exponential growth than to put in the work and take complete ownership of your actions. This means working harder than you ever had before. Staying up late, waking up early, doing the research, refining your skills through practice, preparing ahead, double-checking your work, and overcoming any type of procrastination through the act of discipline.?Adopting a routine to build a solid work ethic will provide you with the qualities needed to fully attain your goals while refining your skills to become the best version of yourself. You’ll no longer look to cut corners or take shortcuts when embracing the principle of taking ownership in everything you do.
