It's no secret that countless singers, musicians, producers, managers and most others in the music industry battle endless frustration trying to build their careers. The major challenges we've discovered are:

1. There is no central hub for the vital information that artists and professionals need to know. There also is no set of directions on how to navigate the industry. Quite often you just can't find exactly what you're looking for or need to know on the go-to sources like YouTube, blogs, newsletters etc. And all too often, they are filled with sales pitches or have outdated or inaccurate information. The result is that most people end up wasting their precious time and money trying a myriad of things with no real results. Unfortunately, many people give up on their dreams due to this endless confusion and frustration.
2. The industry is overwhelmed with rip-offs, scams and simply dishonest people who take advantage of starry-eyed musicians, and often their parents as well. They constantly prey on the desire to get an edge up on everyone else, often taking their victims for a financial ride. Often the only escape or remedy is either walking away with the loss or taking legal action. Neither is a pleasant choice. Too many times this has been the cause of someone completely turning away from the industry.
3. There are countless career paths within the music industry, both on stage and behind the scenes. Yet most people have no idea what they are or how to get those jobs.

That is why Indie Connect is proud to announce it's newest project, 'Cartne' (preview at www.cartne.com ). We are interviewing hundreds of industry professionals worldwide to produce over 500 short videos that tackle all 3 of these challenges! But we need your help!
