Taking (and importantly Making) Impactful Action!

Are you a history maker?? A trailblazer?!?!
Will you be able to inspire future generations by what you did?!

Now, don't distress if you still have plot developments to undergo before publishing your memoirs for sale at locally owned bookstores. In my opinion, many autobiographies are rich in history but best told when subject is based upon certain life experience (can be completely independent of age) to pass on wisdom for those reading them.

Human society has lived the adage of "What doesn't break you will strength you" in 2020. Under the umbrella of several overlaying topics, such as COVID-19, Social Justice, and most recently a highly contentious political season, people have not wavered in staying conscious to the present.

Individuals continue advocating, not just for themselves, but also for causes most important to their communities. Being a source of strength for others may offer us solace when we feel helpless ourselves. Extending myself to others as a source of comfort or light-hearted entertainment includes sharing my own experiences. (I tend to unceremoniously make self-appreciating jokes, others also find uncontrollably funny. Make sure you ask for my "jokes" on a Monday...)

The urge to seek refuge from our relentless world is normal, and some argue emotionally necessary. What we do while on "time-out" and immediately afterward is crucial! When grade school children are scolded and sent to time-out as punishment, the teacher/supervisor expects that child to change their behavior afterwards. Consequential actions (whether good or bad) without the positive constructive change accompanying them can be both ineffective and wasteful. Regardless of its size (from marathon to one step), doing mindful action can proactively make yourself feel better. The mission behind your action can be totally personal or for benefit to an organization or charity you believe in. Performing these actions habitually (I prefer mine to be daily or weekly) will help to see more immediate results on your own wellness. Another true adage is "Give, and it shall be given unto you."

Regardless of its size, doing mindful action can proactively make yourself feel better.

Senator John Lewis made himself some "good trouble" and the historically first female Vice President Elect Kamala Harris proclaimed "Dream with ambition - lead with conviction...we will applaud you every step of the way." (Spoken 11.7.2020) The audience cheering you on in real time and those who will read or learn about you in the future, will keep account of your actions (and words) to potentially seek guidance on what they should do.

Need a tagline to end on? - Pave your own way, make no apologies, and leave the trail open for others to seek their own inspiration. Do those things - be prepared to sell a lot of books!
