?TIPS AND TRICKS
Let’s move on to some tips. First of all, you need to study hard and you need to study very well. This is the key and the obvious tip. The exam is a complex exam. If you want to be a good engineer, you have to master each and every detail with utmost priority.
Secondly, you need to do a lot of lab practice. It’s not that you will get lab questions in the exam for sure, but it will help you ace the knowledge about everything required. Also, there are many configurations that look the same. Those may feel ambiguous if you don’t master everything. Also, you have to learn elaborately about routing tables. You need to know DHCP, DNS, different network configurations and other related stuff.
Thirdly, you need to be quick during the exam. You’ll have 120 minutes with 100-120 questions. You may not have enough time to respond to every question you’re given. If there is any question on which you’re not certain, just move on to the next one without any second thought. Also, read every question at least once.
Finally, don’t get discouraged. When you start the exam, you may think that you will fail or you can’t answer enough questions to pass. In reality, the exam has about 1000 points and you will typically need to score 800-825 in total to pass. At a time period, you may face hard questions continuously, but do not stop just there. Your success is about in the next question. Keep it in mind.
