By Taking Care of Your Mind, Your Business is Taken Care Of!


?The philosophy behind this article is simple - our actions are ultimately driven by our thoughts. In English, we often speak of "thoughts, words and deeds." The same idea is expressed in Sanskrit as "Manasa, Vacha, Karmana" and in Tamil as "Ennam, Sol, Seyal."

A Sanskrit sloka (verse) indicates that a "Mahatma" (great person) is one whose thoughts (Manas), words (Vachas) and Deeds (Karma) are centered on 'Unity'.

This also has the connection to the commonly expressed adage of 'Talk your thought, walk your Talk'.

There has been exploration about the linkage between?this?and effectiveness in leadership.

This ancient wisdom holds the key to sustainable business success.?        

As the leader of a business, whether as an owner, C-suite executive, founder or co-founder, your mind-set and thought processes have an outsized impact. After all, "as is the leader, so is the team"

When you approach challenges and opportunities with a positive, solution-oriented mind-set, your entire organisation will feel the effects. Conversely, if you're plagued by negativity, fear and scarcity thinking, that toxic energy will spread throughout the organisation.

Quite often, business leaders get caught in the day-to-day grind and lose sight of this fundamental truth.

There are some others, who are busy fire-fighting handing the past mistakes, at the cost of growth and future of the business.

They focus solely on the bottom line, the next quarter's results, or the immediate crisis at hand. While operational excellence is important,

true sustainable success comes from first taking care of your own mind.
