Taking care of the customer

Steve Jobs said, “Get closer than ever to your customers. So close that you tell them what they need well before they realise it themselves.” That got me thinking about what it really means to know your customer.

No matter how seamlessly our sales portal works, people buy from people. Every day, we need to ask ourselves: Are we looking after the customer? How are we looking after them? What problems are they trying to solve? What is keeping them up at night? What is our account plan?

It’s only through constant conversations that we can answer these questions. It's only through building long-term relationships and providing exceptional customer service. This involves understanding and addressing the needs and expectations of our customers throughout their journey with the company.

?It’s through staying updated on industry trends, product developments, and challenges that people are facing that we can anticipate their needs, provide proactive solutions and position ourselves as trusted advisors. The article in the link below really resonated with me.
