Taking a break

I’ve had 40 years in the Automotive Industry since starting at Austin Rover Cowley way back in 1982 (that was the Montego/Maestro/Ambassador/Acclaim era !!).

In the first 20 years I worked on Seats at Austin Rover, a brief spell in F1, Central Door Locking Systems at Rockwell and Airbag and Safety Systems at Breed Technologies. Lots of variety and travel working with over 20 different vehicle manufacturers and many great and inspirational people around the world.

In the last 20 years I’ve worked for Johnson Controls and LEAR on JLR Seating and Interior Programmes and the past 10 years as a Platform Director on Seating Programmes into JLR Halewood and JLR Solihull covering many vehicle launches………… it’s now time for me to do something different ??.

Thanks to the great Team at LEAR Redditch for delivering the recent Programmes on Range Rover Seating into Solihull to significant Customer acclaim…………happy memories.

Now I’m looking forward to taking the summer off and starting something afresh in the autumn…………roll on the good weather…………….
