The biscuit to me is a sacred treat. Nothing could replace it in my heart. I can quit sweets, booze, cheese, pudding but I know my limits. You can take everything from me but you cannot take my bourbons - shouted in a Mel Gibson Braveheart kinda way. I have my reasons.
They are deeply comforting and familiar but…
They are constantly being reinvented
They often have chocolate on them
I constantly wonder what will be next, what combination of crunch. chip, crumble, cream or choc ( I may tm the 5C’s of biscuits - everyone needs a framework right? Am I missing a C? ) Then I met Neena Vaswani of Prodigy Chocolate at a Do Lecture event. Biscuits and chocolate with an added layer.
She and her husband take classics make them better
They make the chocolate better
They’ll make the world better.
Neema and Sameer I wish you every crumb of luck, not that you need it; people with your unbridled energy, courage and?invention cannot fail. Your biscuits are, to quote your packaging, phenomenomal.
