Tumultuous times in which we are living to be sure.
One thing we've all noticed is that the old ways of selling aren't cutting it. It doesn't matter if you are a phenomenal on the phone, lovely on LinkedIn, fabulous on Facebook, or can run a radical referral program, if you're relying on just one or two of these methods, it's not going to be enough. Especially as times get tighter.
The folks who will come out on top of this shake up, will have a multi-faceted strategy that includes all of the above, and then some.
But how does our team develop all the skills?
A customizable training program that is paired with the right amount of coaching should lead to money in the bank. Specifically your bank.
What could that program look like?
It needs to have the right mix of mindset, as well as attracting, engaging and converting your target clients and partners. So something along the lines of:
* Mindset: Having the fortitude, beliefs, and attitude that you are going to do the right things, in the right order to achieve the success you seek.

* Relationship Marketing: Now more than ever we have to build relationships with the right COIs (center of influence) while maintaining the ones we've already created. Learning must include ways to meet, understand, and connect with target partners and clients online, offline, and wherever?you are, whenever you are there.
* Presence: How we show up in person and online tells people a lot about us. Making sure the brand is properly represented in all interactions is paramount.
* Presentation skills: Having the ability to confidently present in the boardroom, in the zoom room, and on camera is a great way to attract the right people to you.
* Sales: Prospecting has changed for sure. So has the idea of selling. We don't sell...we have to help people make the best buying decision available. It's not enough to simply consult. We have to advise, guide, and provide a remarkable experience.
* Communications: Learning to be a much better communicator will help individuals lead, follow, sell, win at social media and so much more.
Conveniently, I happen to have an extensive?amount of training material on all of the aforementioned topics. As an added bonus, I love the idea of adding new content to "the vault*" all the time.?
An ideal next step would be to get together over a lunch or other scenario and talk about the results we can create together. I'm comfortable that the lessons and accountability I'll share will have your team adding 2-3 new clients and referral partners within 90 days. And that number will continue to compound as time goes on.
