IT TAKES A MAN TO TEACH HIS CHILD HOW TO EITHER BE A MAN OR HANDLE MEN!
The passage, 'Son, your sins are forgiven' (Mark 2:5), reminds us of the critical role of Father's in the upbringing of children and why, in the absence of a father figure, many children spend their whole lives searching for a sense of identity and self-worth, which ultimately gets in the way of them fulfilling their God-given destinies.
In other words, we should take necessary steps to ensure that our children get to see God in and through us.
So let the knowledge that: 1) As fathers, we are our son's first heroes and our daughter's first love; 2) Mothers can calm us down, reasure us and show us where our sexuality is; but 3) It takes a man to teach his child how to either be a man or handle men; teach you that loving and accepting your children as they are, without conditions and condemnation, is the greatest gift you can give them on this Father's Day!FG. www.fgtalks.com
