It Takes a Child, Just ONE

This article today is part of my previous post on LinkedIn dated 10/10/22, I just felt the need to expect to it.

The UN did not solve the problem of mankind, yet the status of Blacks and Women underwent breathtaking changes. If human beings can simply decide on what they want to do and then, do it... forecasting the future is going to be impossible, freewill is beyond our wildest imagination, but what is most interesting about human beings; Is how unfree we are.?

You see, this is not a modern theory. It's a fact; everyone is entitled to a great life, but that doesn't mean that others are responsible for paying the price of success for you.?

Before we go any further, let me open up this letter with a story. We all like stories aren't we??

So keep reading.?

It was a beautiful sunny morning; A fine and healthy boy came across this dog, and the dog was near starvation. The dog says to the boy, "Where do you get your food, and how do you stay so healthy?"

Well, I have a job, I work nights guarding the house, and the owner of the house, and for this, he gives me food, and if you come with me and help me, he will properly give you food too, so the dog thinks;?this is a good idea.?They set off together, and on the way, the boy is sweating. He lifts his shirt to mop the sweat from his brow, and the dog sees on his back these lash cuts. The dog says; "where do you get those?"

The boy said, well, if I fall asleep on the job, the owner beats me, and the dog says;?I'm leaving, "but?why?"?inquired the boy.?Because I will rather have starving freedom, than fat slavery.?The boy thought that this was a good idea, and they left. The boy was never seen again.?

Now, do you remember the old adage saying; It takes a village to raise a child??

While I think what a village does, Is lock and hide the talents of many young minds from seeing the light, and that's not how to raise them good... And so it has become such a problem that even the younger generations have lost faith in themselves, and the political system. The changing stances of politicians damage the entire political process for the sake of individuals wanting to get power and fame.?

As Jesus Christ explained:?"Let your communication be"?If you said, something sticks to it and do otherwise, as is the case with many of the world's politicians, all bad things will follow. Don't agree to promises that you cannot keep. If you say something mean it.?

Now, If you've read this far, then,?I'll like to say;?It is up to us to light our small fires in the darkness because change comes from small initiatives which work, initiatives that imitated become the fashion. We cannot wait for great visionary leaders to emerge, for they are in short supply.?

As Frank (Steve Biko) In his Essays wrote:?The only vehicle for change is from people who have lost their personality; the first step, therefore, is to make a man of his world come to himself, to pump back life into his empty shell; to infuse him with pride and dignity.?

I mean we've all learned how to change the light bulb in our houses, so if something is important to us, we should be asking this question;?"What should we make of this now?"?And when we see the road, we should start walking!?

To quote Steve Biko again, "God is not in the habit of coming down from Heaven to solve people's problems on earth."

It's time to stop looking outside ourselves for the answers to why we haven't created the life and results we want, for the finger always points straight back at us;?All roads lead to you.?

When we see that despairing look of naked trees and dull skies, it may feel like?everything is dying,?and this change is not for the better. Yet, without these changes, there would be no spring nor summer, and nature embraces this temporary death to be reborn again in spring.

This is what we should do too. Not every change is positive, and a rare one goes smoothly. A period of transition almost always involves pain and crisis. But only when we learn to accept a new phase in our life, do we realize that?every change is for the better.

If it is a negative one, then it aims to shake our values and views, which will later be proven vital for our self-growth.

Thought:?Are you free from the enslaving mental shackles of your culture??

This line hit me, Marcus... "Blaming is the lazy man's way of avoiding responsibility for his problems," I played the Blame Game in my younger life. I never would have achieved anything if I hadn’t taken responsibility...

Marcus "Human Citizen" Malesela You have stated some uncomfortable truths! Fear of what has been given to us to accomplish can drive us to play the blame game. Blame breeds anger which feeds on itself and is never satisfied. The Bible speaks of all of this. Well done! ??????????
