#Takeitback2 - Dabur Chyawanprash

We all eat Chyawanprash from a young age of 5 years and during the COVID times, it may have saved soo many lives by increasing the immunity levels. I am no alien, since childhood my mother recommended me to eat this product. My father at 73 years too insists on having Chyawanprash.

In the month of April during the second wave, I bought the product and finished eating in June 2021. The empty bottle is still with me, wondering what to do. Mr Sudhakar Ambati (https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/sudhakar-ambati-614b58118/) not much active on LinkedIn is heading the HR and CSR in the company. He is a very senior professional in the HR domain and also speaker at several forums. Interestingly the CSR and Philanthropy arm of Dabur is strong but certainly forgetting the sustainability aspects of the company.?

The company focuses on Ayurvedic & Natural Health Care Company in India. It is also one of the world leaders in Ayurveda with a portfolio of over 250 years and a publicly listed company.

They do have all the necessary reports required by publicly traded companies. In Spite of being such a large company, they forgot a small deed - to take back their plastic bottles/wrappers used as packaging material. Sure they all can buy carbon credits, plant trees to compensate for any amount of pollution like many corporations do.??

I am just wondering the business sense here, pollute more - invest more to cover up pollution, profits on the cost of pollution OR just #Takeitback save money, save the environment, and increase profits on the balance sheets for the right reasons. Just develop a Sustainable Business.

The company is chaired by the family - Mr Amit Burman and CEO Mohit Malhotra.?

Writing with a hope to be able to dispose of the bottle, give it back to the retail store I bought from or give it to the manufacturers to dispose of.

Rajesh Nambiar And taking it back from the retailers, enabling clean supply chain could be zero to low cost and more profits + no one can forget branding??
