Neuromarketing World Forum took place on 4-6 April 2016 in Dubai. It was the fifth time neuromarketing experts gathered for discussion and sharing thoughts. Great audience! Here are my takeaways from NMWF:
- Best lecture - David Kepron on “Future of Shopping Environments”. Main idea is that your basic research doesn’t cover it all. We have to dive in deeper than what people are saying. The world is not flat it is multi-layered. And to understand customer at those levels we have to engage neuromarketing, which helps to understand the way customers feel and think.
- General idea - Everyone emphasized the role of neuromarketing, not only because of the changing landscapes, but also because of the new generation that behaves differently, grows up fast and soon will be the major buying force. Simple survey doesn’t give enough insight on their behavior, neuromarketing does. Although tpersonally, I would love to hear more elaboration “How” than “Why” :)
- Wow factor - Using neuromarketing media testing and customization tools for different channels it’s easy to increase ROI by 57%. What?! Learning how our brain reacts to the ads shown on different screens, tells us how to optimize or ads in accordance with our goals.
Have you been to the forum? What are some of your takeaways?
