Take your productivity to warp speed with Copilot in Microsoft Forms
I'm a big fan of Microsoft Forms and I use it for all kinds of things, from collecting complex project data or getting feedback from employees or customers, to hosting quiz nights for my friends and family. Yep, I’m that exciting ??
I also love using Microsoft’s Copilots in all their many forms whenever I can to make my life easier….and now, Copilot can now help me with Forms creation too. Just tell Copilot what it is you’re looking for, and let it work its magic!
It's like having your own starship engineer in your pocket, ready to beam up your form creation process to warp speed. Copilot can generate a draft form for you based on your description, suggest themes that match your topic, and help you polish and refine your form until it's out of this world. All you need to do is tell Copilot what you want, and let it work its technical wizardry. It's logical, Captain.
How it works?
As with most things Copilot, you start with a conversation. Type out what kind of form you need in the Draft with Copilot box. Give it some background, explain what it's for, who it's meant for, and any specific stuff you need…Or if you want some inspiration, click on View prompts and pick one that fits what you're going for.

You can tweak and adjust this initial draft from Copilot. Scrap the bits that don't apply, throw in any crucial stuff you need, mess with how the questions are phrased, shuffle them around, or change the layout to make it feel more ‘you.’ You can even add further instructions to fine tune the form. Again, its just like having a chat with a creative colleague and asking them to help bring your great ideas to life.
When you're happy with how it looks, hit the Keep it button to save the draft Copilot made and edit it later. Or, if you're feeling laz... adventurous, you can check out the theme suggestions Copilot has for your form's topic, pick one, or stick with what you have.
It's like choosing a new costume for your form. You can go with something classy, something funky, or something in between. Don't be afraid to experiment!
Live long, and prosper.
