Take Your Dog To Work Day

It’s hard not to appreciate the fluffy faces, puppy eyes and unconditional love that dogs bring. Research has even shown that animal interaction has the capacity to improve health, which is particularly beneficial in the workplace. Lower cortisol levels and blood pressure alongside increased feelings of social support are just some of the many benefits, and with one in eight Aussies reportedly experiencing high levels of stress, there’s never been a better time to boost time spent with your pooch. Enter Take Your Dog to Work Day, June 26th, where employers worldwide are encouraged to open their businesses to furry friends!

Job management software for trades businesses, Fergus, plans to do just that. Fergus was founded by veteran tradie Dan Pollard who lovingly named the company after his dog! As well as inviting EIGHT dogs into its office on Take Your Dog to Work Day, the company often welcomes dogs on a day to day basis. This is also in keeping with many of their tradie customers, who love to take their furry best friends to work. Are you part of an iconic tradie and dog duo or does your office have a canine mascot? If so, share your photos on Friday’s Take Your Dog to Work Day with ANCR and Fergus on social media.
