Here are 5 things you can do right now to increase your brand’s visibility to relevant buyers.
1.????Know the most used keyword that buyers use to search for your product or service. Put 80% of your marketing energy into being found in search for that keyword. Use paid search ads to buy visibility while you’re investing in the longer-term tactic of winning in organic search.
2.????Ask where your customers are finding you. Create more content and buy more ads to boost your visibility there. Then leverage what you’ve learned in those spaces to target and experiment with new channels and platforms. Generate social look-alike audiences to amplify your reach.
3.????Listen to your customers. Document commonly asked questions and start creating content that answers those questions better than anyone else. You’re the expert so flex your muscles and have strong and compelling opinions and advice. Search engine optimize, post, and promote this content.
4.????Optimize your local Google Business Profile. Utilize every feature in the platform to create the most relevant and trust-worthy profile for your buyers. Then search for the keyword from step 1 all over your service area. Know where you’re visible, and where you’re not, and then find out why and fix it.
5.????Draw attention to yourself by doing something completely different. Be creative, make a splash, be bold. Resist the urge to spend too much on “traditional” marketing unless you know it works. Spend more time testing, measuring, and scaling the winners.
