Take a "Professional Stance"!
A call for all Americans to Stand for Something - with Intelligent Remarks!

Take a "Professional Stance"!

I keep seeing political posts on Linked In with several very disturbing comments below from people, that all read, "This should not be here!" I decided to write this article because I strongly disagree. And since I am an American, I have that right, the right to disagree, in public space, here or anywhere! Linked In doesn't have any rules governing political content. I am free to take a "Professional Stance" here on "Linked In" and so are YOU! I am doing it because there is nothing more important than the United States of America's 2016 Presidential Election!

  • it is important to Business - None of us can afford yet another tanked economy. Business' donate to political campaigns. You deserve to know who is donating to who, and to choose to patronize them or not. It is wrong for business to donate to a campaign, without announcing who they are contributing to, and why. It is morally wrong for them to NOT take a "Professional Stance", and hide behind their cash registers.
  • it is important to People - Americans deserve to know who's team they are playing on. If I am purchasing a product or a service, I deserve to know what that entity is going to do with the money I pay. If they will donate to a campaign, or use the money to support themselves while they write or work for a politician. I have the right to know and choose.
  • it is important to America - Americans know, deep down in, what our greatest values are. We know how important the freedom to speak, write, and worship is. We have freedom to meet for conflict resolution, and freedom to ask for change. The freedom to stand up to our government and to be treated fairly in a court. We can own land and travel, marry and go to school, we can join a group or a club or not. The candidate who is elected could have a serious effect on our American Freedom in more ways than one.
  • it is important to the World - The world relies on America to be a responsible leader, to teach free enterprise and set an example of being a melting pot of different people who live together in peace! Elect the wrong candidate, and the World will get the wrong message!

To say "This should not be here!" is to reject your fellow citizen's right to American Freedom! The idea that is presented, by the person who posts this type of comment, is the problem, that deserves serious consideration!

This person believes there are "professional rules" that prohibit political posts in "Professional Social Media". Rules that are, or should be in force, silencing people and preventing their voice from being heard, in the name of "Professionalism". This way of thinking also suggests that a political post is not Professional in a narcissistic way.

This person believes in a violation of our right to free speech and freedom of press, two of the most important concepts, America was founded upon. This person is not a true American! They don't believe that anyone should take a Professional Stance! Maybe they are ashamed of their opinion, or fear a loss of revenue because of it. Actually - maybe the opinion they have is based solely in financial gain and greed.

I believe exactly the opposite. It is our obligation as responsible citizens to take a "Professional Stance", no matter if we are at home or at work, in business or play. In order to take a Professional Stance, you must use:

  • Independent thought
  • Creative ideas belonging only to you
  • Text written in your own words
  • Your best spoken grammar
  • Your own unique perspective from where ever you stand
  • You should be respectful and polite
  • Present your thoughts and visions in a positive and professional way!

This Article represents the point of view of ALL the Belles Business' - Belles Firm of Architecture, Lynn & Rob Belles Cruises Inc., Belles Clean Store, and Travel Like an Architect.com where we stand behind Hillary Clinton and have already VOTED for her!

The people posting "This doesn't belong here" were Trump supporters. They did so on a post that was in support of Clinton. They believe no one should tell who they support in a professional environment. Trump supporters are not true Americans!

They are WRONG! It's not just "my opinion" it is my constitutional right, and moral obligation to stand for what I believe in!

There is no place more appropriate than Linked In to take a Professional Stance! #Election2016 - - - Show us your colors. Are they red white and blue?

Here's mine:

I Lynn Belles will vote for Clinton because I believe that she will promote a healthier World Economy. I am certain that a “third party” can not win, so I will not waste my vote. I have seen other economies, experiencing them first hand through International travel. I will choose an economy for my country that is a healthier economy for all people, not just "some people". My philosophy is rooted in that fact that I am strictly against, offering tax breaks to the rich, because this money is needed, to provide things that offer opportunity, to those who would otherwise, be trapped in poverty, unable to escape, particularly children with financially struggling parents. Our governmental system has it’s problems including and not limited to the need for pension reform... But to vote democratic is better than the alternative, and the party is open minded, willing to listen, and do the work.....  I believe that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate for the job.
