Take one M518 R - for all your recycling applications

We all know that the recycling market is saturated with many different options, but the MDS 518 R differs in many areas.

The M518R was designed so that the configuration of its drums can easily be changed so that the customer can use the same unit to process different product qualities such as wood waste, wood chips, compost and humus, residual waste as well as rubber and plastics with just one drum screen system.

The machine is equipped with a hydraulic drum removal system, which means that the drum folds hydraulically to the side and can easily be changed with a standard forklift.This makes the M518R very versatile, as the drums can have sieve openings from 1 mm to 150 mm. The drums are made as frames on which different sized meshes can be attached.

The ability to change the drum speed allows you to change your settings and process the material better. Depending on the material, the M518 R has a throughput of 170 to /h.

The drum unit is 5 m long and has a drum diameter of 1.5 m. Equipped with a 6 m3 feed hopper, conveyor belt and a CAT motor 2.2 Tier 4, 50 kW with an efficient fuel consumption of only 7 l/hour.

The M518 R can optionally also be used as a washing drum with an installed washing system. To do this, the customer needs a sealed drum section, wash pipes and a wash bowl installed underneath for drainage.
