Take the next steps in your AI-skills journey with these free courses and learning pathways

In this March edition of Learn This Next, find out how you can take your AI skills to the next level — no matter where you are in your career or your AI journey.

In this new world of work, build critical AI and gen AI skills with 250 free (for a limited time!) AI courses

It likely doesn’t come as a surprise that jobs are changing: The skills required to do the average job globally have been projected to change 51% by 2030 (since 2016), and the rise of generative AI is expected to accelerate this change to 68%. And yet despite four out of five people saying they want to learn more about how to use AI in their profession, companies are lagging: A recent survey found only a third (38%) of U.S. executives say they’re currently helping their employees become AI-literate. To help, LinkedIn has unlocked 250 AI courses, which span seven languages, through April 5 to help people across industries, roles, and levels invest in themselves and navigate this moment.

To get started and to see a sampling of the free courses, check out this blog post from the Talent Blog .

Attention all managers, leaders, and aspiring leaders: Here’s how to help unlock your company’s AI potential

No matter your title, anyone can help build your company’s AI aptitude. Leaders throughout a company can lead by example and build their own AI skills, share their own anxieties and excitement about this emerging tool, and spread that knowledge with their teams.

It’s in this spirit that LinkedIn is unlocking four Learning Paths for leaders of all stripes to help them better understand the implications and best practices for using AI in their organization. The Learning Paths are separated into the following four categories, with the understanding that leaders can be at varying stages in their careers. These courses will be free and unlocked until April 5, 2024.

  1. Build AI Aptitude as an Aspiring Manager
  2. Build AI Aptitude as a New Manager
  3. Build AI Aptitude as a Middle Manager
  4. Build AI Aptitude as a Senior Manager

To learn more about the courses — and the most common AI fears that must be addressed before your company can embrace this emerging tool — be sure to check out gen AI expert and LinkedIn Learning instructor Pinar Demirdag’s post on the Learning Blog .?

And if you’re looking to further develop your leadership and management chops — especially in core skills like communication, change management, coaching and employee development, and remote team management — be sure to check out LinkedIn Learning’s 16 new Learning Paths for managers at all levels. Click here to explore the Learning Paths (note that only some of these courses are free and unlocked until April 5) that can help you and your team adapt to the changing world of work and make an impact at your organization.
