Take the Lead: Just like that! 2023 turns into 2024...

...as if by Magic, another year has passed us by and we all begin to look ahead to a New Year, reflect on what we're carrying forward and questioning what we have not achieved.

A fresh calendar year gives us the opportunity to

'wipe the slate clean'

It also allows us the chance to wonder why certain things didn't a. happen or b. work out.

Personally, I never thought I would live this long! Such was the lifestyle I led as a young 'lady'?!

In my last newsletter I asked you to start keeping a note on who you were talking to. Have you done it?

If you answered Yes - well done! What have you noticed?

Did you answer No - what has stopped you? Do you need help?

There is magic in keeping a track of your conversations. Or your engagement online.

Like the master, Tommy Cooper, who listens out for the audience responding to him...he knew exactly what he was listening for. Have you mastered what you are listening for?

This journey of discovery is valuable to everyone. Finding that magic.

I got chatting with Ben Hanlin on my latest podcast episode. We talked about how marketing is like magic and how it should be an obsession.

It is an awesome conversation and one I would encourage you listen to.

Most people find their magic through other people.

I remember my Domino Effect days with sheer joy. Working with Colette Bratton gave me a different direction and reinvigorated my drive in my own service offering.

It also gave me someone to talk with, we would listen to each other and question allsorts of stuff. We would brainstorm for the fun of brainstorming!

We also delivered workshops and masterclasses to 100's of business owners and got a huge kick out of seeing their efforts pay off.

2023 saw a good idea turn into the launch of my LinkedIn Local for Ayrshire with the support from SimpsInns at The Potting Shed. Janette and Ryan have done me proud. It's a Free meet-up every 3rd Thursday, the cost is you buy coffee and cake.

It's why The Gailes Hotel & Spa is the venue of choice for launching the 2 Day event 'The Business Masterclass'.

I am delighted to be back in front of business leaders again in 2024! Not on my own either...

Teaming up with David Christian , we will be working with Ayrshire businesses.
