Take His hand and get up!

This reminds me of how we should be when God gives us His hand. Unfortunately, we can do the opposite. In the movie 'Million Dollar Baby', the main character becomes so successful as a female boxer that she wants to help her mother. The boxer came up from nothing and knew that is where her mother was, so she bought her a house. The mother complained, 'What is my social worker going to say! I can't be seen in something like this!'. Sometimes we find ourselves in terrible situations that we can get out of, but because of various reasons we get comfortable and don't want to put in the effort to get out. It would have been easy for the beggar to stay in his situation... just keep begging and stick with what is familiar, but he recognized God's gift and took it with gratitude. When God holds out His hand to help you up (even if it means leaving your comfort zone), grab on with gratitude and have a blessed weekend!
