Take and Give

So now someone has discovered that drinking water can be extracted from ‘thin-air’ so we have a new source of water. Why is it surprising that ‘thin-air’ has water? We learned this in elementary school; called the Water cycle. And so why is it a new source? In the long run, just as we are sucking out all the groundwater and drying up our rivers and other water bodies by consuming recklessly, why will this also not dry up one day? And it's not that we all don’t know this. So where is this all taking us?

Humans are the most intelligent species on the planet. But it’s our definition of #intelligence where the issue is. We gather data with our 5 senses, store the data as #memory, process it with our brain power to convert it into #knowledge, and finally that accumulated knowledge when used with our #identities is called #intelligence. (remember in this definition #Intelligence is tied up with #identity so it is #individual) This is such a mechanical process. No wonder computers can take over all that work. Getting back to intelligence. So what this means is that intelligence is basically all about the #past. Memory & knowledge is all that has already happened. Nothing new about it. Hence all that we do based on knowledge and intelligence is #repetitive, mechanical, old stuff. How can we do something really creative with history and the #past in our heads? Well, this is why we keep #doing things calling them #creative and #inventions but the reality is (if we want to see it) that there is nothing net new. We are increasing our standards of survival and calling it #growth. We can’t handle our own anger, depression, sorrow, and jealousy, but we want to conquer the world. Just because we think the universe (river, water, earth) cannot fight back or resist we can use (misuse) it to our favor. Just as we kill and eat all the docile animals since tigers and elephants will not let us touch them.

Give this a #thought. #Nature and the #universe are where we all are allowed to ‘#Be’. We are #Beings and need to learn that first. Nature is not sitting #inert allowing us to ‘#Take’ and #consume as we’ve been doing it for thousands of years. It is already fighting back silently (like all really dangerous things do) and will soon make the human species extinct if this continues. And we can't continue with our ways of consumption (#take) and try to pacify the universe by doing (#give) things like being nature conscious or carbon sequestration or reducing emissions or growing food by hydroponics and all the scientifically advanced methods that we keep (so-called) inventing. It's only digging the hole deeper. What we need is to #understand ourselves. Go deep into our thoughts and understand the #Being in this organism called #humanbeing. Take #responsibility, understand #fear, remove #conflict, be #silent. That’s when #transformation will happen. Remember #Iamtheworldandtheworldisme.
