We are excited to invite you to take part in our stakeholder mapping for GEOSYN - Geothermal Synergy: Enhancing Industrial Energy Efficiency Through Steam High-Temperature Heat Pumps And Heat-Powered Cooling Systems With Operational Flexibility And Public Trust, we are an EU-funded Horizon Europe project running from 2024 to 2027 (ID: 101172812). The GEOSYN project unites 10 partners from 5 EU countries to develop cutting-edge solutions for industrial energy efficiency and our joint mission is to develop a steam heat pump integrated with a heat-powered refrigeration cycle, utilising water as a natural refrigerant. This approach maximizes the cascading use of geothermal energy, significantly improving sustainability and energy security.
A Game-Changer for Industrial Sectors
GEOSYN’s technology is tailored to industries requiring process heat in the 150°C to 250°C range, including:
A key innovation is the incorporation of high-temperature underground thermal energy storage (50–150°C), leveraging both closed-loop and open-bedrock systems. This ensures operational flexibility, making geothermal energy a viable and scalable alternative to fossil fuels for industrial applications.
Your Participation Matters: Take our Stakeholder Mapping Survey now
As part of the GEOSYN project, we are conducting a Stakeholder Mapping to identify key industries best suited to integrate GEOSYN’s innovative solutions. We invite you to contribute to this process and help shape the future of industrial energy efficiency.
Your insights will be invaluable in ensuring that our solutions meet real-world industry needs. We assure you that any data shared will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality and used exclusively for the GEOSYN project. If required, we are prepared to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to formalize our commitment to protecting your sensitive information.
