What attracted you to the Wingstop internship program??

Wingstop’s values and culture really stood out to me. The company value set – authentic, entrepreneurial, service-minded and fun – aligned with my own goals and values. The individuals I interviewed with embodied these characteristics and were enjoyable to talk to. ?

As a Supply Chain intern, what have you enjoyed most since joining the team??

I’ve really enjoyed learning about our different markets and international restaurants, as well as the processes and suppliers they use. Working with the team for both domestic and international stores has been such a privilege because of their knowledge and insight. My mentor Eric has done an excellent job at guiding me and teaching me how to dive deeper into supply chain and its opportunities.??

What were your expectations for the Take Flight Internship Program, and how were they met or surpassed??

My expectation was that the internship would provide experiences and skills related to my field of study. This expectation was surpassed as I was able to cover a wide variety of new skills and experiences, as well as dive deeper into certain areas through cross-functional team interactions. This gave me insight into how each part of the company works together and supports each other. The people and culture were also so much better than I had imagined. Coming in every day is more fun when you look forward to working with the people around you.?

What advice would you give to a future Take Flight Intern??

Make the most of your time and be proactive! The time that you have during the program is valuable, so take advantage of it to learn as much as you can. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, meet new people and try to help wherever you can. Be like a sponge and soak up everything the program and the people have to offer because it is useful information that will help you in your future career and life.??
