3 个月Redundancy has been hard for me, I was made redundant 7 months ago and it’s been incredibly hard trying to find my way back into employment since.

3 个月For me, the most difficult aspect of having a redundancy discussion with one of my staff was always getting them to understand that it was the ROLE that was being made redundant. Yes, of course, if there was a choice to be made (1 of 5 sales rep roles had to go, for example), then factors such as skills, experience came into contention. For the most part though, making sure that every possible support was made available was a very important part of the process.
Always a Student. Questions lead to Knowledge, Experience, and Wisdom. Go the long haul, short-cuts don't last.
