Take control and see results

When it come to bodybuilding your mind is almost as important as the body. Any form of exercise will need some level of mental belief in yourself, knowing that you can do whatever you set out to do. Every bodybuilder gets tremendous satisfaction from looking in the mirror, hitting some poses,and watching their developing muscles pop out all over their body, or using a measuring tape to calculate exactly how many inches gained in each body part. But for me, the training experience itself was always very rewarding and pleasurable. The hours I spent in the gym were the high point of my day. I liked the way training felt, the pump I would get during my workout, and the relaxing sensation of near exhaustion that came afterward. I not only enjoyed being a bodybuilder, I really got off on actually doing bodybuilding. Many times after my training I would feel this amazing pump and that alone is a very reason to have a huge sense of pride knowing that I did something satisfying.

What You Think is What You Yet

Of course, that all comes with time. In the beginning, every bodybuilder should stick pretty much to the basics. When you are starting, you can't train according to ''how you feel'' because you have no idea what are the correct training techniques, get used to how working out a certain way feels, and then you can begin to rely on ''feel'' or instinct to guide you. In 2002, when my boss decided that he was going to send his employees to the gym, I did not fully understand what he was doing. Now that I am a grown man, about to turn 40 years old, I have come to understand what fitness can do with one’s life. At first, when I started, I had no understanding of what I was doing; but somehow it seemed like it was going to be rather nice and easy to stick with. At first, there were about 14–15 of us when my boss decided to send us to the gym. I found it interesting how we huddled in a little Ford hatchback van. We would go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Somehow, to me, it felt nice when I walked into the facility and saw the weight machines. We had an instructor who taught us to use the weights, but I was so excited that I didn’t even wait for the trainer to give me instructions. I started to exercise by observing what other people in the gym were doing. We would work out for an hour and a half, and then we would all get back in the van. It was close to another well-known gym in Jamaica, called Spartan Health Club. After we all hopped in the van, going back home, I couldn’t wait for tomorrow to come, because going to the gym seemed rather interesting.

 

This transportation method went on for a couple of weeks. Soon after, some of the employees decided that they were going to stop coming, but I was persistent on going to the gym. The group of fifteen reduced to only four, and the four of us seemed to be very faithful. We continued going to the gym for a very long time. That lasted for about two and half years. I was so excited. Over the two and half years, I started to see improvement in my body, and I was more than pleased. Soon after, it reduced to three people.

Mindset Building

I live in the abundance of everything around me. I’m grateful for the little things, as those little things have allowed me to appreciate big possibilities. Having a vision in mind of what you want your body to look like will enable you to achieve the physical appearance you want, if you put in the effort and the work. It’s like going into the CN tower in Toronto, Canada: you cannot see the distance when you are on the first floor, but as you go up higher, you are able to see further in the distance. While you’re on the first floor, you can only imagine what is to come. This helps you create a vision of what you are about to encounter. It’s the same process your body goes through, because you do not have an understanding of the end result.

Let's get back to feeling good; what other things can we say about fitness that make us feel good? Even sex is better, and your body, your mind, and your soul will feel and look better. It turns your partner on more, so you feel more at ease to be touched. The full physical capacity will last longer, and there will be a greater ability for sustained pleasure; therefore, there is no need for sexual enhancements like Viagra. Exercise is also a great method to improve sperm count or libido. Studies have shown that exercise elevates mood. A lot of emotional problems are caused by feelings of loss of control. If you are feeling bad about yourself, the first step towards getting control is doing what you innately know is right, and that may be a physical activity. It's hard describing in exact words, but you know when you feel good. Health problems, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or high blood pressure, will continue to increase if people do not understand
