Take control of AI: Your guide to properly using AI tools

Are you truly ready to use all the AI tools available? Find out!

We know exactly what you are thinking: stop with #AI already! We agree, but our first newsletter piece couldn't be on any other topic. We promise this will be the last AI article we send you - at least this month ;).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already transforming the way we live, work, and communicate with each other. But, have you ever thought about the right way to use AI? Yes, there's a right way. Bear with us as we discuss some of the best practices for using AI tools and hopefully give you a new perspective.

First, it is important to remember that AI is not a silver bullet. It is a tool that can augment human intelligence, but it is not a replacement for human thought. AI should be used to enhance our own capabilities, not to replace them. The difference between a good use and a bad use of AI is letting it do all the work. Use it to inspire you, but always - and we mean ALWAYS- check the work, add to it, and modify anything you don’t resonate with.

Secondly, there’s also an #ethical aspect to using AI as well. As it becomes more integrated into our lives, it is important to ensure that it is used fairly and responsibly. AI will do as much as it is able to create whatever you ask it to. So, #limitations are left entirely to ourselves. Beware of biased content, privacy, and security aspects.

Now, having these in mind, the potential benefits of AI are immense. It has already been used to make significant breakthroughs in medicine and environmental science and we can only expect it to continue to transform the way we do even the smallest things.

As for now, these are the #tips we can share with you to use AI tools properly and make the most of them:

  • Make it your own: Use AI as a form of inspiration, but make sure you put your own thoughts to it, that’s where the big things happen.
  • Set boundaries: Remember to be careful with the things you create with AI. Hey, didn’t Uncle Ben say “With great power comes great responsibility”? Well, it’s true!
  • Be as specific as you can: If you want great results, then you should give inputs for the technology to understand you. The outputs will only be as good as the input. Be specific about your perspective, the results you are looking for, and your audience. Give it information!
  • Learn from it: AI shouldn’t be the only one learning from you. #Learn from yourself as well. Every time you use these tools, learn how to search, create, ask, and do your things better.
  • Don’t be afraid: The more we understand AI, the better we get with it. But we can’t be afraid of its power, but we have to be responsible and learn. Learn how to handle it, work with it and accept it as a new tool. Fear is good if it encourages you to look deeper into it, but don’t let it stop you.
  • Be curious: We are still improving and developing AI, so ask questions and do your research. Discover new tools, ways of automating tasks, and -again- learn how to use them.

All in all, while there are certainly concerns about the use of AI, the possibilities are incredible. All the fuss around it is only because of the #power and #impact it has. Make sure you follow the best practices and consider the ethical implications so we can ensure that we are using this powerful technology in a responsible and beneficial way.

It is safe to say that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg, but as tech lovers that we are, we can’t wait to see all the things AI will hold for us in the #future .
