In honor of employee appreciation day, I wanted to write about the importance of taking care of your team, and how that will ultimately result in great success for you and your business or company.
Individuals who work to establish their worth deserve to receive fair compensation. Those who go above and beyond what is required and have made themselves invaluable deserve to be paid whatever they need and desire.
Why? Because they've made themselves invaluable. What does the term "invaluable" mean? It means they are so valuable to the company, that you are unwilling for them to leave.
For these rare employees, you should throw however much money you can at them.
Additional perks, fringe benefits, and so forth–oh, “You want this? Are you in need of this? Here it is.”
Any good business owner or executive should identify those members of the team who are invaluable and do everything they can to help these employees solve any problems they might have in their lives. If you take care of them, they will take care of you and the business.
The quicker their problems and issues are resolved, the quicker they can get back to work and be focused on the business.
A good leader should always say,"Oh, you have a problem? Here you go, here’s your solution. Now you don't."

"Oh, you have a problem? Here you go, here’s your solution. Now you don't."
And you should be willing to do that because you don't want your employees to have problems that distract them from their work–so for all business owners out there who want to really grow their business and create a great team, you must learn to take care of the team and ensure the most invaluable members of your team have no problems when you can help to solve them.
Any problems you can help them solve, it is your duty to do so. That includes money issues, issues with situations that come up in life that your employees don't know how to handle.
None of your core people should have that problem, and if they do, they should know that it’s going to be resolved as quickly as humanly possible, so they can continue to be productive.
Why should someone sit and stew on something for three years, when it could be resolved in 3 days?
Remember, if you as a business owner or CEO have the ability to help your team members solve their problems,? it is your responsibility to do so.
Invest in your team, because they invest in you.
