As we are all aware of the senseless loss of life due to the horrific attacks last night, I have been wrestling with so many emotions. It is just sickening to know of the losses that were suffered and of course the anger that comes with that emotion.
On a second note, the witnessing of strangers helping strangers and the swift response by first response teams is inspiring and shows us the best in humanity! Watching the MGM family come together as they always do just kicks in that sense of pride and amazement at the unselfishness of the entire team!
With all the craziness in the world, can we take this time to remember that a world that is driven by your love, compassion and understanding will just make the world a better place. As I spoke to some of our teams today, one message was delivered: take care of our guest and take care of each other! My hope is that this can be a message that permeates all areas in our crazy world.

7 å¹´Thank you for the support. As one who was scheduled to work the event, I am grateful for the change in assignment that day. There were 120 of my coworkers on duty there and my heart goes out to each and every one. We are all affected forevermore.
