Take Care During Adverse Times

Dear LinkedIn,

Over the years that I have browsed LinkedIn, I have endeavoured to greet new connections with a few courteous words.

If you accepted my invitation, you would have likely received the following sentence:

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

I do so with no intent to ask for something but to alleviate the creep factor when looking at your professional profile for ideas, information, connections and opportunities.

With the event of the last few weeks, I also want to say; please take care!

We face significant challenges with yet to understand short and probably long term significance. We are all in it together, even if some may be more fortunate than others.

This afternoon I cross path with a young woman crying on the sidewalk. The pain and anxiety are real and will likely soon be large scale.

Take care of one another; take care of your physical and mental heal.
