Today, I would like to talk about:
“TAKE A BREAK AND THINK”
Let’s do a little exercise together.
As you begin this new slide of your life with “appetite and gluttony”, I ask you to stop all your activities and take a moment to think of yourself with sincerity and objectivity. Just you, face to face with yourself.
Action 1: Relax!
RELAX, CLOSE YOUR EYES, LISTEN TO YOUR BODY RELAX, THE BEATING OF YOUR HEART SLOWING DOWN. YOU ARE READY TO LISTEN TO YOUR THOUGHTS NOW.
Think about your past life, are you satisfied? Do you want to retake the same path? We all agree that we cannot change the past but we can avoid reliving some situations, those in our hands.
Action 2: Look at yourself!
Here we are on the path of a joyful and effective maturity, so let’s face all that disturbs us in our actions, in our attitude towards others, but especially what we can change in ourselves and which prevent us from advancing, to achieve our mission and to achieve ourselves! We are in the details today. Let’s work out what we do not like and what blocks us. These character traits that hinder us.
Action 3: Let’s take an example!
Let’s take the example of a woman, let’s call her Mary, who complains every day of her age, her wrinkles, her weight gain… and other problems of the time that passes on her body. Mary will become unhappy, sad, depressed and alone in her despair, without knowing why!
I’m going to ask her to “take a break” and look at what she likes about herself, morally and physically. I’m sure it will be difficult for Mary to see the beautiful things that are in her. At least in the beginning. But little by little, she will reveal her best attributes by “listening to herself”. Why am I sure that Mary will discover again what she loves about herself?
Very simple!
We all have our positive and negative, prominently with us, but sometimes it is disorder, the positive in favour of the negative. It only takes a few tools to get it out of hiding. Mary is healthy, she has lovely children who are happy, but her physical appearance does not please her. She has gained weight and thinks she is no longer attractive. She is afraid of the passing of the time and refuses to celebrate her birthday. She no longer looks herself in the mirror and lowers her head.
But Mary just thinks that she likes to read and watch fashion every season. She loves to write too.
And the sky of Mary clear.
Action 4: Let’s get out the keys!
In the case of Mary, what hinders her and prevents her from moving forward is that she fixes her life on her appearance and forgets that there is a world of satisfaction and joy beyond bodily limits. Complaining became the goal of her life. But by “pausing”, Mary realized the void that anguished her and her “me” that she had forgotten, concentrating her life on her physical and her fears.
The keys to thought are to open the doors of our dreams and of what we love. And to begin to regulate as best as possible what disturbs us. Lose weight if necessary, redo the sport, and find your way. Work on traits we don’t like, try to mitigate them.
Everything is in our power! Nobody can change us, but we can change what bother us and become the fulfilled woman we deserve!
