Take Action - Time waits for no one

Take Action - Time waits for no one

What is your biggest fear?

I recently celebrated my birthday and as we all tend to do from time to time, I looked around me at my amazing family and started to reflect and think about what was important in my life

I have such beautiful children and partner, who are more than just my family – they are the awesome people that drive me to achieve in life, motivate me to get out of bed in the morning and every single one of them bring something very special to my life

I didn’t care about time or the effect of its passing when I was younger, but the older I have become it holds so much more value to me – Life is time that we simply borrow, for however long and it is never granted to us, we never know for how long we will have this time – we see this every day in the media with such sad things happening around us and so many of this sadness from things that is not a choice or beyond our control

My biggest fear is not being around to see my children grow up, to grow old and watch them achieve in life, to have families of their own and to be happy, my biggest comfort though is that whatever happens to me, there is something in place for them to keep them safe, to provide shelter, to support them through their life  as they grow and to support them in the same way as if I was there with them

This is a reality – not a what if – it is the one thing in life we are certain of and guaranteed and will happen to every single one of us. We insure our cars in case of an accident, we insure our pets in case of an unwanted vet bill we can’t afford, we even insure our homes  in case we get burgled or household items get damaged– yet none of these have anywhere near the same value as our own very special lives and those in it

A car can be repaired, a pet can be nursed back to health and valuables lost of stolen in our home can be replaced – but our lives? These cannot be replaced and at a time of loss and grieving, to know a roof remains over my family’s head, they are warm and safe and will be for the foreseeable future – well this to me is priceless

Vitality has allowed me to opportunity to put in place that comfort, that security and the reassurance they will be taken care of when I cannot provide this for them and the bonus for me and my family is that along the way, I am able to engage with my family, even up the work life balance, take them to the cinema, stop for a coffee with my other half, take her away for a spa break when we just need some time out to recharge and enjoy the time I am given

I use the phrase “No Brainer” all the time and for me it really is, to reward me and incentivise me for taking steps to stay healthier and make better choices in my life, so I can actually potentially live a longer life, which is something we should all want and at the same time knowing there is something in place to protect and give security to my family  - that really is a No Brainer right?

Take control of your life, don’t wait for something to happen, be proactive and live peacefully knowing that you and your family are protected – so many people don’t and their loved ones are left with a financial burden on top of grieving for a loved one, not something that any of us would wish on our loved ones

Take action, stay healthy, make better, healther choices and prioritise – lets have a conversation about why Viisana is right for you, it could be one of the most productive conversations you have had in a long time
