Take 5 with our Veterans: Walker Hashim

This week we honor the brave men and women who have served our country, including many of our own employees at Take 5 Car Wash.

Walker Hashim graduated high school in 2016 and headed to boot camp later that year. In high school, he always knew he wanted to be a Marine and fight for his country. Walker’s unit deployed two times. He spent time in South Korea, Japan, Norway, and Ukraine. During one of his deployments, he participated in Operation Sea Breeze where he helped train Ukrainian troops.??

Walker said his proudest moment was when he became a Squad Leader as a Lance Corporal (E-3). He said being selected for such a high-ranking position was a testament to his hard work, discipline, and knowledge of the job. Walker’s time in the Marine Corps impacted his life because it gave him real-world experience and the discipline needed to be successful.??
