Take 5 with our Veterans: Brandon Sirmans

This week we honor the brave men and women who have served our country, including many of our own employees at Take 5 Car Wash.

Brandon Sirmans: United Sates Navy, 2005 – 2016, E5 – Petty Officer 2nd Class

Take 5 Car Wash District Manager Brandon Sirmans served in the United States Navy for over 10 years. During his tenure, he held positions as an Interior Communications Electrician and Command Fitness Leader and was stationed in Virginia and Texas with several deployments overseas.?

Joining the military offered many benefits for Sirmans, but he was most honored to be a part of something bigger and to serve his country.

“I made a commitment to myself and my country, and I followed through on that commitment. I served dutifully and was honorably discharged,” Sirmans said. “I learned valuable skills and knowledge of processes that have helped me in various aspects of my life. I was a valued part of a team, and I learned what it truly means to work together toward one, shared goal.”

Sirmans gained many leadership skills during his time in the Navy that shaped the way he leads today. In his role at Take 5 Car Wash, he finds that if everyone understands the “mission” and is on the same page, it’s easier for employees to work together and complete tasks. He is also thankful to Take 5 Car Wash for providing a life-changing career where he can put his military leadership skills to use and bring the company further success.?
