Dear GO TRACE Community,
Welcome to the 79th edition of our GO TRACE Newsletter. We are glad to have, for this new edition, the support of Tailorlux on our mission to bring you fresh news on fashion traceability and transparency.
In this edition, we see that technological advancements like blockchain, RFID, and textile recycling are enhancing traceability and transparency in the circular fashion market, supported by regulations like Extended Producer Responsibility.
On the agricultural side, the Fashion Pact is incentivizing farmers to adopt regenerative farming practices. This initiative addresses the critical issue of carbon emissions in the fashion supply chain, starting at the very beginning of production. By scaling up regenerative farming practices, the program not only reduces greenhouse gases but also improves supply chain traceability.
Together, these developments represent a great collaborative effort towards meeting sustainability goals industry-wide.
I let you discover the rest of this edition for yourself!
