Tailored benefits for your Non-profit

Tailored benefits for your Non-profit

When evaluating job opportunities, *42% of employees prioritize personalized benefits above all else, over good colleagues (37%), group insurance (30%), and flexible remote work policies (24%). Employers should focus on offering tailored benefits to attract and retain top talent while aligning organizational values with real, personal outcomes.

But how can you achieve this without spending excessive time or struggling to find the funds to create a meaningful impact?

An NPO is distinguished by a financial structure that differs from for-profit companies. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg, as the true difference lies in its mission, values, and people. Let’s focus on values. Throughout my professional career, I have encountered many companies that claimed their values influenced their decisions and vision. However, in 90% of cases, this was a missed opportunity: these values were only reflected in their financial results rather than in objectives related to their mission.

Values are, in fact, a reflection of the organization's leadership. These values are upheld by people (in this case, the team) and are demonstrated through concrete actions, especially in an NPO.

Due to the financial transparency inherent in NPOs, tangible actions must be reflected in the annual report at the end of the year.

NPOs are naturally part of a well-represented customer segment at Tedy. The flexible nature of our benefits allows NPOs to tailor their benefits experience according to what matters most to them, translating this into concrete and tangible actions. For example, if your mission is focused on carbon neutrality, you could activate the "Public Transportation" category for your entire team. And so it goes for the 19 other categories available . While you can select all available categories for your team, many NPOs conduct internal votes or carefully choose categories based on their specific goals.

Other organizations use our recognition features to celebrate events or even team behaviors aligned with these same values. This can be done in seconds, with a high level of employee engagement. In fact, over 90% of employees log into Tedy at least once a month, which increases the visibility of every initiative in that regard.

And let’s not forget about our new FIN program. FIN helps contribute to your team’s financial health through RRSP contributions and also supports specific causes, such as donations to NPOs, while even generating a tax advantage.

We would be thrilled to share concrete examples with you at the Engaged Leaders Summit on September 25th at the Maison du développement durable in?Montréal. On the agenda: interactive conferences, a collaborative workshop, and a panel discussion, all capped off with a networking cocktail presented by Tedy.
