TAHMEF's Roundup for Equitable Digital Health

TAHMEF's Roundup for Equitable Digital Health

Even though 2024 is a leap year, we have not been assured of additional time. Nevertheless, inspite of the frenzy, the team has been diligently striving to establish Tanzania as a model nation for fair and equal access to healthcare via digital services. Here we are, Happy to share with you our progress and accomplishments in the report for this quarter.

Quite a view from our weekly team meetings

Team Expansion: Presenting New Members

During the initial half of the year, TAHMEF welcomed a number of exceptionally skilled professionals who were wholeheartedly dedicated to our mission. A Full Stack Developer, an Operations and Project Manager, a Partnership, PR, and Communication Specialist, and two Lead Psychotherapists are included. Each new member contributes to our mission of enhancing the accessibility of healthcare in Tanzania and thereby strengthens our team.

Establishing a Robust Groundwork: Our Methodology for Fostering Team Cohesion and Cooperation

In order to cultivate a cooperative professional atmosphere, we coordinated a comprehensive onboarding programme that was subsequently followed by a team-building retreat. These endeavours facilitated the smooth integration of new personnel into our organisational culture and bolstered team collaboration.

Determining Our Course of Action for 2024

TAHMEF initiated strategic planning sessions at the start of the year, with a particular emphasis on the utilisation of digital technology to tackle obstacles within the healthcare sector. Our approach is focused on improving the accessibility of services and promoting health equity throughout Tanzania.

Promoting Collaborations to Optimise Influence

In order to expand our influence and foster collaborations with community organisations, we maintain our steadfast dedication to doing so. We await your correspondence regarding potential partners, if you are aware of any.

Enhancing Mental Well-being: Webinars and App Updates from the Ahadi Project

We conducted webinars on mental health challenges as part of our AHADI initiative, and we updated the AHADI App to provide users with greater privacy and control.
