Tag 2017 - The watershed year

As we enter 2017, it is with renewed hope that we will be able to fund the various programmes we run. I sincerely hope that we will be able to continue the wonderful work that we have been doing in communities around SA. We have wonderful plans and ideas to increase participation but are heavily reliant on assistance from companies and individuals. We have some fantastic new adult Tag league venues coming starting in 2017 and have our 1st adult IPT at Villagers Rugby Club in July. 

I must thank all those that have supported us over the last 22 years and hope that we will still have your support in 2017. A huge thank you to ASICS, PresLes and Oxbow Xerox who have already committed to our Tag Adopt a School Programme for 2017.

An exciting programme for 2017 is our Vusa programme in Langa. We are opening a after school Tag programme which will see young boys and girls going to the sports centre on a Tuesday and Thursday after school. They will all read for 45 minutes before the Tag Programme begins and be allowed to take a book home to read at home.
