Tadweer Reverse Vending Machines: Paving the way for Abu Dhabi’s accelerated recycling infrastructure

We recently announced an exciting milestone in our efforts to enhance Abu Dhabi’s recycling infrastructure – we’ve officially deployed 25 Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) in key locations across Abu Dhabi. The RVMs can now be found across Abu Dhabi, in parks, Malls, offices, sports centers and many more convenient locations – including Umm Al Emarat Park, ADNEC Group , the The Department of Municipalities and Transport , United Arab Emirates University , Bawadi Mall, and many more.??

Partnership is a core value at Tadweer Group, and we’ve worked closely with key partners including the Ministry of Finance, UAE , Zayed International Airport, Khadamat Facilities Management as part of UAE University and others to launch these machines. we’ve also launched the Tadweer Rewards, our incentive app aimed at encouraging the community to recycle by earning points that can be redeemed for exciting rewards from a variety of partner merchants.?

The deployment of the RVMs showcases our efforts in achieving our ambitions of diverting 80% of waste from Abu Dhabi’s landfills by promoting a culture of recycling in the Emirate, and helping the community understand the importance of taking care of our planet.?

With each step we take in our #sustainability journey, we are sharing an important message with the world: waste isn’t waste, but an under-utilised, alternative resource that plays an invaluable role in our future. Understanding how to properly manage waste, from extending its lifetime to converting to energy, graphene, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and more, is key to a cleaner and healthier planet. This has an impact on the environment, and the health of the public. And this is where Tadweer’s RVMs can make a difference; providing an effective and convenient way for the public to recycle and helping divert our waste from landfill and showcasing its value in the long term.??
