Tackling Challenges : Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Critical thinking is the ability to analyze, assess, and conclude information in a logical, rational, and objective manner that involves the ability to question assumptions, identify, and make inferences. And Problem solving is a mental or physical process carried out to find a solution to a problem or challenge faced. By finding an effective solution. These two topics are very related because by having critical thinking we can do good problem solving in life. So I want to share how to solve a problem while joining the Bangkit program with critical thinking and problem solving.
So, I will share my problems while learning bangkit and how to solve, enjoy ??
Problem #1 : Conflicting schedules of lectures and Bangkit Academy
??Causes: ?Things like this may often be encountered in our daily lives, sometimes a lack of attention to the existing list of activities makes us forget so that it makes the schedule collide, and also because the lecture schedule changes so that it collides with the schedule of activities in Bangkit.
??Solution: The Bangkit Academy team makes this activity very enjoyable and comfortable to run, if you meet problems like this, the bangkit team has a solution by rearranging the activity schedule sessions that have been made by filling out a form to reschedule, so that this will not make the events we have collide with bangkit activities.
???Impact: From the above problems we can avoid by paying more attention to the schedules that we have so that they are organized so that there is no overlap in schedules. The impact that can be felt is being more thorough, being able to set priorities on each activity, and feeling calmer and less stressed because I have better control over my time.
Problem #2: Difficulty in understanding a lot of material given at once
??Cause: This problem arises first, because the culture shock is a little seeing the material given at once in modules in a time that is arguably quite short for the beginning. It was also caused by piling up other assignments and a lack of strategies in doing so, making it difficult to understand the material.
??Solution: Seeing this situation at the beginning I found a solution by implementing a more effective learning strategy, such as making a study schedule, noting material that is considered difficult, and learning it gradually. Every week the bounce team also provides ILT sessions that can help to better understand the material given in the task.
???Impact : By applying these learning strategies, it can be more helpful in managing study time and the specified deadline, if some material is quite difficult to understand, the discord also has an open discussion forum that is free to ask Bangkit friends. With this, it can be positive for me by increasing the quality of learning outcomes and reducing the level of stress or anxiety related to the amount of material that must be learned at once.

Problem #3 : Time difference between regions during study sessions
??Causes: Some may ask why this is a problem? When I was first given my study schedule or ILT, I got a schedule that coincided with my region's evening time, also the time difference between WIB, WITA, and WIT made it difficult during discussions with friends who were in the region.? This initially caused me a little difficulty and disrupted my focus on learning.
??Solution: Seeing this condition, I sought a solution by organizing a more flexible and proactive time management strategy. And if I feel unfocused, I can record the study session to watch it again later according to the time that is more effective for me to study.
???Impact: By practicing more flexible time management, it can help me overcome this difficulty and become concentrated and focused during study sessions. The impact I feel is more organized in understanding the material, increased learning efficiency, and reduced stress caused by the time zone difference.
