Addressing this growing challenge is an environmental necessity. There is an opportunity to protect communities, recover valuable resources, create high-quality jobs, and drive innovation in waste treatment technologies.
The oil waste industry is growing. From a value of $46Bn to an estimated $74Bn in 2030.?This growth is driven by increasing regulations and public awareness. Politicians and regulators are raising the bar on a an almost daily basis on what qualifies as "remediated" or "treated" waste. Information on environmental risks is more accessible than ever, putting pressure on companies to act responsibly. With every increasing liabilities, the need for action is now.
There is good news.?We have the solutions available.?The waste management industry, engineering firms, and environmental specialists have the expertise and technology to take on this challenge.?SAS Environmental Services?is committed to doing its part, and we believe the industry can work together to develop a strategic plan to treat?1 billion tons of oil waste?using all available means and technology.
