Here's an important truth to realize: Everyone is scared of uncertainty. All your competitors fear uncertainty. So if you can be really good at understanding and managing risks in a disciplined way, you'll be able to innovate while others are stuck or slowed down.
The key is to systematically anticipate potential future events and think through your best responses. You might start by mapping out possible future scenarios and their implications, so you can prepare for the most likely outcomes.
Even with the hardest challenges, it pays to break down uncertainty into manageable pieces until you regain the ability—and comfort levels—to act decisively.
By doing so, you can turn uncertainty from a barrier into a strategic advantage, positioning your company to thrive.
