Let’s not beat around the bush, the word ‘telemarketing’ is enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine, and telemarketing within the construction market is no exception. We subconsciously associate the word telemarketing with rows and rows of grey desks and soulless telephone agents making 200 calls a day or being pestered whilst trying to eat your tea at home by someone trying to sell you double glazing or solar panels. With all this in mind, there is no surprise as to why the service is met with such resistance.

At Excel TM Group, we are dedicated to changing the perception of the service we provide by being completely transparent and open from the start. We understand we have a big challenge ahead of us, but that starts by generating exceptional results for our clients week in week out, ultimately resulting in a positive return on investment. In short, we let our results do the talking.

Our approach doesn’t conform to what you would expect from a telemarketing and lead generation company – our specialist account managers are not targeted by how many calls they make but rather on the quality of results generated for our clients. We understand generating high quality results can take a good amount of research and must be nurtured carefully which is why we don’t measure volume of calls as closely as other companies may do. As a result of our high quality of service and transparency from the outset, we have been recognised nationally and have won several awards as well as being the first of our kind to place in Elite Business’ Top 100 SME’s of 2023, coming 60th. Not bad for only being 3 years old!

A consultative approach is imperative to how we operate at Excel TM Group. We ensure that before any campaign starts, we sit through an extensive and necessary product and culture training session with our clients. We are going to be representing our clients so we must act and sound like them, as well as have a firm grasp of their values and USP's. Our consultative approach allows us to have meaningful conversations with prospects and not just sound like robots. It is through these interactions we develop relationships with key decision makers and thus in return, generate high quality appointments and leads for our clients.

We are passionate about sharing our story and why we do what we do, so much so we designed and created the UK’s first ever Lead Generation and Telemarketing CPD, aptly named ‘Addressing the Taboos of Telemarketing’.
