Table Bay Hotel supports Street Smart

SITE AFRICA is very proud to be part of this amazing project that takes care of Cape Town's street children. We recently held a lovely fund raising evening at the Signature Lux Waterfront hotel and managed to raise much needed cash through silent auctions and raffles through-out the evening. Management from the Table Bay hotel volunteered to supply one of Street Smarts projects with all the stationery they need to help put a few kids through school. Huge thanks to Sun International for their amazing donation. Below is a letter from Street Smart which I am delighted to share with the world....

Dear Tes, Mariaan, Jillian, Yonela and Table Bay Sun International Team,

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to you for your vision and embracing of StreetSmart SA as beneficiary for SITE President’s Dinner fundraiser and stationary donation.

Together with CTMSC- Netreg Aftercare, we are thrilled with the very generous donation of stationary and equipment to support this essential educational programme, as they assist young children through learning difficulties. Their interventions results in learners being equipped to progress through their grades better skilled and with more confidence.

One of the precious stories from Netreg Aftercare is that of Bongi (a pseudonym):
