In 2014, Tata Motors started truck racing in India for Indian truck drivers. Main motive was to enter International truck market. This championships was only open for foreign truck drivers, but this year a special race for Indian players were organized at Budh International Circuit, Greater Noida, India. In this championships, 1000 Indian participants applied. 132 participants were selected in a selection process and among them 12 were selected for the championships. 12 participants were regular truck drivers with lack of race experience. Organizers trained 12 truck drivers for the championships. Psychological, medical tests were conducted with latest training programs and many test drives for the championship. Truck drivers were given celebrity status pre and post event. Jagatsingh from Haryana was the winner of this championships. Nagarjuna from Andra Pradesh was in top five list for best truck drivers. This truck championships changed the way of living of the drivers and boosted their spirit to compete at the International Truck Racing circuit.
